APS Outstanding Referees Program
The Outstanding Referee program was instituted in 2008 to recognize scientists who have been exceptionally helpful in assessing manuscripts for publication in the APS journals. Like Fellowship in the APS, this is a lifetime award. Six faculty from the OSU Department of Physics have this distinction:
2009 - John F. Beacom, Richard J. Furnstahl
2008 - Eric Braaten, Ulrich W. Heinz, David Stroud, John W. Wilkins
