Director of IT for the Physics Department Director of Enterprise Architecture for the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University
I am the Director of IT for the Physics Department. My team in the Physics Computer Facility supports the day to day IT needs of the department, including PCs, Macs, Linux, networking, and more or less anything that requires a power outlet to operate. Personally, I support PCs, Macs, and networking. If you've got a problem, question, or comment regarding purchasing or using the computers in the Physics Department, I'll be happy to help.
I am also the Director of Enterprise Architecture for the College of Arts and Sciences. As part of Arts and Sciences Technology Services, I help to align the strategic goals of the college with IT capabilities through targeted goals in the three to five year time frame. If you have thoughts or questions about the strategic plans for the college, I'd be happy to talk to you.
I like to try everything. At various times in the past, you might have found me out on my motorcycle, skydiving, scuba diving, or kayaking. Have you met my wife, Lori? Did I mention that my wife loves animals? It's true, we have a yellow dog named Brisco and innumerable pygmy african hedgehogs. We have also been host to a mara, a corruro, dormice, a rabbit, a chinchilla, ferrets, skunks, rats, hamsters, degu, not to mention several beloved cats.
