Running coupling in small-x evolution
Heribert Weigert (University of Oulu)
Running coupling corrections play a qualitatively and quantitatively
important role in any attempt to describe the energy dependence of QCD
observables, be it at low densities or in the context of a Color Glass
Condensate. I will attempt to clarify why this is a crucial issue and
then present the result of the first calculation of these contributions.
A brief look at first applications will serve to illustrate consequences
for phenomenology.
